Washington and Oregon delayed crab season after discovering toxins in crustaceans
Washington and Oregon joined with California in the delayed crab season this year. Domoic acid, which is a very harmful substance was found along the coast of three states delaying the crab season. However, tests are being conducted to monitor the levels of toxins.
