The price of censors, networking cheap sets and processors, three major components of smart lighting system, has been slashed with introduction of spectacular color- changing LED lighting installations around the globe. A report published in Techcrunch has explained that the bundle of components required making a light enable to sense its environment, acting on that information and sharing it with others, has dropped in price — even more precipitously than the LED devices themselves.
The lighting market has been hit immensely with innovation of lighting apps. The companies who are capable of integrating sensing, networking and control through a single platform in lighting will win the race in lighting market, for sure. The companies, who focus more on hardware developments, will view a blink of extinction shortly.
