New Hampshire resorts have gotten ready since last spring for the 2015-2016 winter season. One of the resorts that skiers and bikers enjoy is the Loon Mountain, which has been gearing up new equipments, upgrading their facilities and improving their overall resort experience in anticipation of another big winter.

Loon has assumed management of TV-22, and this winter, they will allegedly broadcast the latest in weather, snow conditions and upcoming events as well as original content and a new morning show. As of 2015, Loon has become a member of the M.A.X Pass. This is a pass that includes five days of skiing or riding at each of the 22 mountains in North America.

The ski resort also made way to improve the snow-making. This is through additional KLIK hydrants, which means more terrain earlier in the season. They also renovated the Camp III lodge at the base of North Peak and major expansion of Loon Mountain Sports retail facilities.

In addition, two Tesla-charging stations and one EV charging station installed in the Children's Center parking lot for drivers of Teslas or other electric vehicles had also been the new improvements of the resort. On the other hand, the ski areas in New Hampshire, many of which have expanded their summer and fall offerings to zip-lining, mountain coasters and festivals are reporting some gains in revenue and visits over last year. Weddings at the ski resorts also have become more known by the couples.

According to the Daily Reporter, for instance, Loon Mountain Resort, has been reported to increase their revenue up 3 percent over last summer and fall. The resort's strong business from the gondola skyrides, weddings, and a record year for the New Hampshire Highland Games & Festival in September had been pointed out as reasons of the booming ski business.

Other resorts had also shown some increase in their revenues. The Cannon Mountain's Aerial Tramway heightened up to12 percent in revenue and 7 percent in visits over last summer. Moreover, the Mount Sunapee Resort management stated that the Evolution Bike Park, which features four trails has become very popular.

Jessyca Keeler, executive director of Ski NH, claimed via Skift that some of the resorts are working to expand their mountain biking offerings, including lift-serviced mountain biking. Waterville Valley also claims that bike rentals elevated 24 percent from last summer, seemingly due to an increased exposure to its mountain biking system as well as the addition of Fat Bikes to its rental fleet.

Meanwhile,although a lot of competing resorts had upgraded their facilities, the Loon Mountain remains New Hampshire's longest scenic gondola skyride to the summit of Loon Peak, which provides views of the White Mountains. Moreover, Skyrides at the different resorts are available daily all throughout this month.
