Google to unveil two new products on 29th September

Google is sending media invitation for its event this coming 29th September. The event "a Morning Conversation about Some New Treats from Google" is expected to unveil new hardware produced by the company. News has been circulating that the company will unveil new Chromecast and new Nexus phone at the event.

According to TechCrunch, the invitation was sent from Google and not its parent company; Alphabet is strengthening the circulated rumours as Google is responsible for the hardware development under Alphabet.

Source obtained from Cnet News told that Google is expected to unveil two new Nexus phone at the event. Google is reported to have been working with LG and Huawei for the production of the new Nexus. According to the rumour, new Nexus phone will come with two different size to meet the market demand. The smaller version made by LG while Huawei will manufacture larger version.

Nexus is the smartphone flagship under Google but manufactured by other company. The phone will normally come equipped with the latest android and set the bar for how android system should work on other smartphone brands. The new Nexus is expected to run on Android 6.0 or also known as "Marshmallow".

This will be the third year for LG to be working with Google for the production of Nexus as the company had helped to manufacture Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. However for Huawei, this will be their first collaboration with Google. A successful launch of the latest phone is seen as a stepping stone for Huawei to enter the American smartphone market.

Besides Nexus, Google streaming service, the Chromecast update is expected to dominate the event too. GeekWire reported that the new Chromecast will be equipped with 802.11ax WiFi for a faster internet connection and a new feature known as "Fast Play" that will reduce lagging time between the start and resuming streaming content. The device will also have the ability to pull social media feeds on the home screen allowing users to read the feeds on the background.

Another feature expected to come with the Chromecast is the Chromecast audio. The device can be plugged into any speaker system enabling users to play audio from their devices directly to the desired speakers. The system is expected to utilise the WiFi connection instead of Bluetooth.

The event will be the first event for Google under the new CEO, Sundar Pichai. He was working as Google's Product Chief before being promoted on early August this year. The event will also give the world a glimpse of how well Google is operating under the new management.
