Vladimir Putin wants a Fascist state; thinking about shutting down foreign companies in Russia

Vladimir Putin, current president of Russia announced that he will not revive the old USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics); rather he will make a 'Fascist' state. He once recalled the fallen Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and many who have heard Putin's sentiment believed that he is going to bring back the USSR.

For a start, let us know the deeper meaning of 'Fascism.' According to Merriam Webster dictionary, Fascism is a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

Although Vladimir Putin was misinterpreted about mentioning the USSR, Russia's government is very far from being a Socialist, Communist or Marxist state. Moreover, it is more of a copied totalitarian state which originated in the dark ages of Europe.

Today, Russia is said to be investing more on defense even if the country's economy is on the verge of collapse.  Also, critics of Putin including some journalists and politicians who are against the government, are dying, if not murdered. And this is what a fascist state does - executing those who are threats to the regime.

On the other hand, Putin attended the 10th annual Business Russia forum in Moscow and talked about "excluding" foreign businesses in Russia. "Should we wholly exclude foreigners, taking advantage of the situation kindly provided to us by our partners and competitors? We should be careful here. Maybe we are able to do that, but do we need to completely deprive the domestic market of foreign competition? Probably not", Putin argues.

Putin also said that it is important that businesses should have its own research agencies, for them to discover new ideas and technology to be brought in Russia. "We should not limit ourselves to localizing car manufacturing and putting paint on cars and detailing them, though that's also high-tech process. We have to design the technology," urged Putin.
