Trump’s empire may come in conflict with his position, no details yet on his plans to remove himself from his organization

Voters in the United States, and majority of people in other parts of the world, probably have no idea how exactly president-elect Donald Trump had earned his fortune. Trump's empire is rather extensive with his business ranging from real estate to entertainment deals. Not a lot is known about the specifics of his organization, but there is now a clearer picture thanks to the tax documents that were released back in May.

The document revealed that Trump's empire encompasses different businesses, but the bulk of his revenue is from his office tower rentals and his golf courses. Other parts of his income come from other interests including media, retail, and hundreds of other companies.

There has been some fear that his business empire may eventually come in conflict with his position as the President of the United States. A lot of his businesses can be directly affected by several government agencies and policies, which means that a conflict and ethical concerns may soon arrive during his business dealings.

In response to this, Trump had previously announced that he is currently coming up with plans to officially remove himself from his business operations to prevent any conflict of interest when he is formally inaugurated as the new President of the United States.

"While I am not mandated to do this under the law, I feel it is visually important, as President, to in no way have a conflict of interest with my various businesses, legal documents are being crafted which take me completely out of business operations." Trump had previously announced in a series of tweets on his official Twitter account.

Trump's business empire also extends to interest outside the United States, primarily in India, Indonesia, and the Philippines. His foreign policy decision may have a big impact on his business overseas, which some fear would also lead to a conflict of interest.
