By Staff Writer

Delta Airlines has just announced that they are initiating major upgrades onboard to provide better customer experience. Delta is now redefining their business with new amenities and new names for their product offerings.

Passengers flying with Delta Airlines can now choose their preferred products: Delta One, First Class and Delta Comfort+ with premium amenities while BusinessElite was rebranded to Delta One, and Economy Comfort to Delta Comfort +, according to One Mile At A Time Boarding Area.

"We are investing in improvements throughout the customer experience for greater comfort and continued productivity. It is our goal to provide customers with more choices, enabling them to find the one that best fits their travel needs," Delta Airline reports.

Here is the summary of Delta Airlines new offerings since March 2015, according to The Points Guy:

Delta Comfort+ offers improved amenities such as dedicated overhead space, premium snacks on longer flights, complimentary beer, wine and spirits, and extra legroom.

Delta One, also known as the BusinessElite previously, is offered only on long-haul international routes and flights also between New York-JFK and Los Angeles or San Francisco.

First Class is available on short-haul international and domestic routes.

Basic Economy provides Main Cabin service with a small number of flexibility options available in select markets.

Meanwhile, as Delta Airlines is improving its services onboard, it was chosen as the no#1 in corporate travel among all large U.S. carriers by Morgan Stanley 2016 corporate Travel Survey. It tops its rival United and American airlines on the quality of product and reliability, News Delta reports.

"After compiling the results, our survey suggests that Delta continues to provide the best service across all categories among the legacy airlines - marking the second consecutive year that Delta took top honors in all categories," according to the report.

Delta Airlines has received the recognition for two straight years. U.S. carriers were ranked based on five categories, including quality of network, price of package, quality of product, flight schedule and reliability. In line with their recognition, the airline has invested millions of dollars to enhance their customer's experience onboard by offering great entertainment, better seating and by providing chef-inspired meals.
