Samsung Gear S2: A new way to revolutionize the modern world

In the fast growing world of technology, different technological companies are contending each other in order to get hold of the global market. In order to do so, sharp and creative minds enrolled are launching different devices, which alongside are easy to use and comfortable, aside from being stylish and sleek.

Rather than launching a device which has to be attached to a bag or belt, Samsung has introduced 'Smartwatch' which is wearable around the wrist as well as easy to operate. It is a stylish piece of high-tech jewellery, which can be mistaken as a regular watch but has an ability to bring revolution in the modern business world, as reported by Forbes.

Smartphones followed by smartwatches are fulfilling the criteria of convenience, durability and time saver with its special applications and modern features, making it as an ideal tech-gadget.

Samsung Gear S2 is available in two stylish models, classic style and a sportier, minimally larger version. It is not in an 'annoying' rectangular shape like its predecessor, the Gear S, but is available in  a beautiful curved piece of ornament. It has also freed the professional from hard-to-use buttons, dials, and incredibly small screens by updating its bezel into a 'control wheel'. The price tag of Samsung Gear S2 has not been released yet, however, the Samsung Gear S with 3G currently costs about $200 with a two-year contract with AT&T, as CNN Money reported.

Samsung's two-inch touch screen curved display has stirred the modern tech-world. The availability of 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity around the wrist had made sharing and recording, reading and receiving emails and notifications convenient as well as fast and easy transaction through e-commerce PayPal, which announced an introduction of an app for Samsung's Galaxy Gear and Gear 2 smartwatches, without having a smartphone in pockets. Just like Apple's Apple watch, the Samsung gear comes with a unique facility of mobile payment.

According to Juniper Research, the use of wearable devices is expected to increase from 19 million in 2014 to 70 million devices in 2018.

As stated by Reuters, Samsung market has seriously considered its diminishing market sales following its global market contender, Apple's Apple Watch and expects its new introduction of Smartwatch to overcome the losses.  However, the expectations are being reached as according to data of research firm Strategy Analytics, the demand increased from 1 million last year to 5 million in the second quarter of this year.

"We are leading the way in this segment," said Younghee Lee, Samsung's global marketing head for mobile. "But we realize we can't do it alone."

A survey conducted by Indiana University Kelley School of Business, in December, discovered that nowadays, the new highly fashion and apparel conscious young generation are more attracted to the stylish wearable and easy to use technology as compared to previous years.

"For the first time in three quarters, tech products have gained ground relative to the other categories we studied," said John Talbott, Associate Director of the school's Center for Education and Research in Retailing.
