American Airlines’ Business Mileage Program: Earn 2,000-25,000 Bonus for joining American Business ExtrAA

By Staff Writer

American Airlines' Business ExtrAA has recently started an enrollment bonus for their clients. The companies that join the program and spend $3,000 on eligible fares earn 2,000 Business ExtrAA points, which is already enough for a round-trip economy domestic ticket on the airline.

The American Airlines' business mileage program, is now available for enrollment and registration for the bonus at the official page of American Airlines. But clients must make sure to use the referral code SME4Q12 to claim the promo.

According to the airlines, to commemorate their five years of offering international travels, they're offering their valued customers an opportunity to earn up to 125,000 AAdvantage bonus miles this fall, between September 22, 2015 and January 31, 2016. The airline company added, "You can earn 25,000 bonus miles on First or Business Class fares, 7,000 bonus miles on Premium or Full-fare Economy fares (Y, B or H) and 2,000 bonus miles on other Economy fares on each round-trip between North America and Europe."

Although the companies usually earn 2 points per $10 spent on eligible airfares on most routes, the bonus is the equivalent of spending $10,000. The companies who avail such program can redeem the points for more than 50 award redemption offers, including travel from 2,000-25,000 points, upgrades from 650-3,100 points, Admirals Club day passes of 300 points, as well as memberships of 3,000 points, conference room rentals of 900 points and gold status of 2,400 points.

And basing on AA's Terms and Conditions, the Business ExtrAA is currently open to companies with two or more employee travelers. However, TPG Managing Editor Eric was offered and able to open an account just for himself, so the terms might actually be more flexible than that. But users may try to open an account and take advantage of at least the 5,000 bonus AAdvantage miles for individual travelers. If you have at least $3,000 in airline spending coming up, this could be a good way to maximize it by earning a round-trip coach award ticket as well.

Meanwhile, not only that American Airlines will be offering the program, British Airways, Finnair, Iberia, OpenSkies, and US Airways are also participating. Clients just have to register on the promos before travel promo period ends which is earlier than January 31, 2016.
