Aside from the "Rootless" security, trusted Wi-Fi and support for legacy A5-based devices, three more exciting enhancements that might have a big impact on the overall experience of Apple users are rumored to be included in the forthcoming iOS 9 update- Force Touch technology with haptic feedback, new keyboard designs and a group read receipt feature. 

Insiders confirm that the release of iPhone 6s will include one of Apple's trademark features, the Force Touch technology. The company has designed the next iOS to be Force Touch-ready and is already working with experts to assimilate the feature into various applications.   

The technology was first introduced in the Apple Watch and the new MacBook. It creates pressure sensitivity into the track pad which enables the users to press firmly in order to initiate minor actions. In the new Retina MacBooks and Retina MacBook Pros, the said technology allows new features like dropping new pins into Maps, pressure-sensitive scrolling in media players and dictionary lookup for words, and according to 9to5Mac, Force Touch in iPhone will provide the same functionality on the next iOS and the next generation of iPhone as well.

The Force Touch technology will feature real-time haptic feedback or the so-called 'Taptic Engines' which is in charge of sensing and performing particular actions in accordance to the pressure applied on the track pad or on the screen.  These new features reportedly extends to iPad versions of the upcoming iOS which provides a great chance for the Force Touch technology to be featured in the next generations of iPad.

Other additional features which are reportedly included in the upcoming iOS 9 include the setting of read receipts to both group chats in iMessage as per-contact basis, which is believed to make it more effective on its messaging platform. Also, Apple is including new multiple keyboard designs and additional keyboard controls to its next iOS update which will be more user-friendly than its previous design. Lastly, Canada might be the first country outside of the United States to support Apple Pay in iOS 9.

It is possible that these new additional features might be presented in the World Wide Developers Conference this June 8 to 12 but the Force Touch technology seems to be unlikely mentioned until the new device is revealed this coming fall.
