By Staff Writer

Entering a password using an onscreen keyboard seem to be an almost impossible task, but Facebook came up with a solution to the new Apple TV's difficult password log in process.

According to Gizmodo, Facebook has a new login SDK that allows users to login to their Apple TV without using the remote that comes with it. Users can now easily go to any third-party app they want to get into and just choose "Login with Facebook." After this, people will receive a short code that must be entered on their computer or smartphone. This system applies for developers that support Facebook logins, which something not yet universal. This could be one of the minor downsides of the new SDK.

Newzy reported that Logging in to Apple TV requires the user to enter a password with an onscreen keyboard. This makes the TSA look very organized as the user have to manually input the password letter-by-letter. This has to be done as Apple banned the use of iPhone as remote to the Apple TV. However, this has become the biggest downside of Apple TV. Now, users can easily go to facebook.com/devices on their computer or mobile phones and input the verification code to comfortably log in instantly.

In a report by Beacon Transcript, the move allows Facebook to expand its login system. This prompts people who doesn't like to use Facebook create an account in the giant social media site. The move also lets developers create their own sharing hooks, allowing users to post content on their social media network.

This makes Facebook become a part of people's daily lives, which is what the social media platform aims to become. One thing is for sure, Facebook's new SDK is definitely a seamless solution to the annoying password login problem of Apple TV.
